Suli Holum and Deborah Stein's Orchard Project created show — a tale of revenge and redemption, the sexuality of sports, the high cost of fame, and what it takes to be a champion — is in previews right now at the Kirk Douglas Theater in LA before moving to La Jolla Playhouse Dec 14-18.

Amelie: The Musical (OP 2014, 2015) Opens in Los Angeles
Developed over two seasons at the Orchard Project, Nathan Tysen and Dan Messe's musical adaptation of the hit French film "Amélie" comes to LA's Ahmanson from December 4 - January 15 — following a World premiere at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, which topped the Best Theatre of 2015 lists in the San Francisco Chronicle and Los Angeles Times. Choreographed by OP alum Sam Pinkleton, it will also Broadway in March 2017.

PigPen's The Hunter and The Bear (OP 2013) in Chicago
Cast in flickering campfire light, PigPen Theatre Co.'s newest piece, a combination frontier ghost-story and modern-day parable unfolds in their signature style: using resourceful staging, captivating storytelling, ingenious shadow puppetry and award-winning folk music to fuel a headlong plunge into the darkest part of the woods. See it at Writer's Theater December 7 - January 22.
