Project Description:

Leo, a struggling voice over artist, is overjoyed to sign an exclusive contract with the hottest video game company around. But he soon discovers his hiring was no accident; the companyā€™s founder, Jess Bean, is a former classmate who was viciously bullied by Leo back in middle school for being gay. Now, as Jess coaches Leo through recording the noises for a gay sex game heā€™s developing, Jess is ready to educate his former bully on the intricacies of gay sex and what it means to be a real man.

As their dark role play progresses, both men are shocked at the depths of their own pain, fear of intimacy, and desperation to maintain control at all costs. More simmers beneath their cavalier facades than either could have dreamed. In this darkly comic, psychologically twisted, and deviously sexy examination of queer intimacy, Gay Sex Sounds is an audioplay that brashly exposes and celebrates the hidden mysteries of gay sex, subverts power structures, and concocts a thrilling game of cat and mouse where anyone could come out on topā€¦
